The idea of putting a plain label on a t-shirt has already been explored, and proven to grab people’s attention. We’re taking it to the next level by printing price tags and receipts onto the garments - something that hasn’t been done before. Receipts display the actual price customers paid. The receipts and price tags will come in different designs: some hanging physically on the garment, others sewn in. All of it will be done elegantly, so the price is visible to bystanders nearby, but not to people further than six feet away. It is also a satirical take on luxury branding: instead of showcasing a fancy logo or design, our approach is even more straight forward — showing that we have “no taste,” yet a “sh*t ton of money,” flaunting the price of a shirt without extravagant artworks or famous logos.
